trapped nerves
However, sometimes the cause is unknown and classed as idiopathic.
Persistent pain in and around the vulva and vagina.
Burning, stinging, throbbing, pain
Vulvodynia can also be linked to other conditions such as vaginismus, interstitial cystitis, painful periods, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
It can be triggered by touch and sitting down.
